Is that your first Miata? If so I can remember two minor problems from my first week of Miata ownership. First, if you are wearing shorts while driving around with the top down, the front of your legs will get sunburned. Second, you may notice your face muscles feeling kind of strained as result of grinning too much.

Mostly just making sure it works properly, and then making it a weekender track car. Looking to get roll bar in the next couple weeks, I replaced rotors and pads yesterday, and put in some airplane toggles for the window switches and headlight switches.
